Referrals

  • New referral requests require an appointment via telehealth or F2F. For a preliminary diagnostic assessment, it may require pathology or imaging prior to seeing specialist or allied health professional.
  • Renewal of an existing referral requires a telehealth or F2F appointment if your last consultation was over 3 months ago.
  • Please give 3-5 working days for these requests to be completed.
  • In many circumstances, the experienced doctors of the practice can manage your health issues, thereby saving you the cost of a specialist referral and visit.
  • Prepaid online repeat referrals without a consultation are only for a) patients with established long-term annual specialist reviews, AND b) where your GP is already familiar with the chronic medical condition.
  • The fee for a prepaid online repeat referral without a GP consultation is $20 and can obtained by clicking here.
  • There will be times when your doctor decides a review appointment is necessary. In such cases, our reception will call you to book an appointment. Any referral fee already prepaid, will be deducted from the cost of your appointment.
